چکیده

Excessive use of fossil fuels results in the rapid depletion non-renewable energy resources, a rise fuel cost, and an uncontrolled emission greenhouse gases which causes severe threat to environment. Bio-fuels are being scrutinized as substitutes for current high-pollutant obtained from conventional sources. To meet global demands, it becomes necessary find alternate source is bioethanol. In this work, strategy promote ethanol production Leftover Cooked Rice (LCR) by comparing different types hydrolysis was proposed. Process integration comprised mechanical pretreatment leftover cooked rice followed then fermentation. The food wastes weight 50g taken each 3 fermenters were subjected acid hydrolysis, enzyme combined respectively. Commercially available Baker’s yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae) used fermentation process. fermented samples distillation separate bioethanol them. amount 400ml, 150ml, 350ml Qualitative analysis done using Jones reagent. Hence, can be produced Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Kinetics of Bioethanol Production from Waste Sorghum Leaves Using Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4743
Kinetic models for bioethanol production from waste sorghum leaves by Saccharomyces cerevisiae BY4743 are presented. Fermentation processes were carried out at varied initial glucose concentrations (12.5–30.0 g/L). Experimental data on cell growth and substrate utilisation fit the Monod kinetic model with a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.95. A maximum specific growth rate (μmax) and Mon...
متن کاملEthanol Production from Waste Potato Mash by Using Saccharomyces Cerevisiae
Bio-ethanol is one of the energy sources that can be produced by renewable sources. Waste potato mash was chosen as a renewable carbon source for ethanol fermentation because it is relatively inexpensive compared with other feedstock considered as food sources. However, a pretreatment process is needed: specifically, liquefaction and saccharification processes are needed to convert starch of po...
متن کاملSynthesis of Bioethanol from Artocarpus Heterophyllus Peel by Fermentation using Saccharomyces Cerevisiae at Low Cost
The most common way to produce bio-ethanol is fermenting raw materials using suitable microorganism. For this fermentation process to produce ethanol from Artocarpus Heterophyllus which is generally known as jack fruit, Saccharomyces Cerevisiae is used as a microorganism. Saccharomyces is used to produce high yield of ethanol due to its naturally adopting property and its high tolerance rate of...

Here, we report the genome of Saccharomyces cerevisiae strain NCIM3107, used in bioethanol production. The genome size is approximately 11.8 Mb and contains 5,435 protein-coding genes.
متن کاملKinetics studies on ethanol production from banana peel waste using mutant strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Five different mutant strains were developed from the wild strain of Saccharomyces cerevisiae (MTCC No.287) using UV irradiation technique by varying the exposure timings. All the mutant cultures were used for ethanol production using banana peel as a substrate in a batch fermenter. The effect of temperature, pH and initial substrate concentration on ethanol production were studied and optimize...
